Sunriver Maui in 2010?
Instead of Sunriver in 2010 should we celebrate George &
Sibyl's 50th Anniversary in Maui?
It would be an outstanding family vacation, and with all of us
there, and in a place where we could
cook and barbeque it actually wouldn't be
that expensive.
We have over two years to plan, and save for the trip
It's the cheap season, so it won't cost nearly as much as high season
There's almost no chance of rain
The water is warmer
It's only about 10 degrees warmer outside than when we've been over before
Nonstop flights on Hawaiian look like they're running
between $495 and $564 looking at this August
and next June (as far out as I can look) and on Alaska it's $595 looking
at next June.
Christi found some great places at great prices (the view from the unit is at the top of the page)
The complex is right on the beach
In Wailea the best part of the island
We'd use two units above and below each other to get four bedrooms, but each of the units has plenty of room in the living rooms and kitchens to get together for meals, games, etc.
$243 per night per couple (includes tax and $40 fee for 2 extra people)
Each of the places is a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom and can sleep 6 (the kids can sleep on the sofa-beds or daybed)
